Meditation techniques

When I am anxious it tends to hit me the most in the morning. One of the best ways for me to reduce this situation is to take 10 minutes to meditate. There are dozens of ways to meditate, I tend to use the following method.
Find a quiet spot.
Sit in a comfortable spot.
Lookup slightly and then close eyes.
Inhale deeply through my nose and exhale very slowly through my mouth.
Say 100
Continue the same process counting backwards.
